📝 Notes
Liver is rich in vitamin A, which builds up in the body, so these are strictly an occasional training treat — a few tiny crumbs, not a meal, and never daily in quantity. Treats of any kind should stay under roughly 10% of your cat's daily calories. Keeps refrigerated for up to 3 days, or freeze in small batches.
⚕️ Before you cook for your cat
- Homemade food must be balanced. Cats need taurine, and deficiency causes heart and eye disease.
- Treat recipes are supplements to a complete diet, not a replacement for it.
- Check any new ingredient against the toxic-foods list, and ask your vet before switching diets.
